“Ricochet: An American Trauma,” is an hour-long documentary on PBS examining the US gun violence crisis and the people it impacts most. More than 45,000 Americans died as a result of gun-related injuries in 2020, the highest number on record. Guns became the greatest cause of mortality for American children. 

The concept for the key art was to create the American flag symbolically with using ammunition to represent the mass shootings and roses to represent the the tragedy of lives lost to gun deaths and suicide in the United States.
